Rurouni Kenshin Live Action Sequel Confirmed - Two New Live Action Films Green-Lit will be released in summer 2014 !
This breaking news was revealed on Thursday in the August issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine. The films will cover the Kyoto arc of Nobuhiro Watsuki's original manga — specifically, the Great Kyoto Fire and Legend's End storylines.
We just have a little details regarding cast and crew:
-Takeru Satoh is reprising his starring role as Kenshin Himura.
-Tatsuya Fujiwara, who played the role of Light Yagami in "Death Note" will portray Shishio Makoto, villain of the "Kyoto Arc".
And Keishi Otomo Announces that he will be the director for both films!
